This is how you delete your BeReal account

BeReal is still completely hot, but it is of course possible that you don’t actually like the app that much. Or you just want to create a new account. No problem, you can delete your BeReal account. Check here how to fix that easy peasy!

How do you delete your BeReal account?

Don’t feel like BeRealing anymore? Or to receive BeReal’s from others? To delete your account:

1. Open the app and go to your profile.
2. Go to ‘Settings’ at the top right.
3. Tap ‘Other’.
4. Tap ‘Delete account’.
5. Confirm your choice. Done!

Of course, it can happen that you suddenly regret your choice. Don’t stress, because your account will only be officially deleted after 15 days. If you log back into the app within those 15 days, your account will continue to exist. Lucky you!

Uninstall the BeReal app

Do you want to keep your account, but just delete the BeReal app for a little break? That is of course also an option! Check below how to do this on your iPhone or on Android phones such as Samsung. 

Remove BeReal app on your iPhone

1. Hold your finger on the BeReal icon until the menu appears.
2. Tap ‘Delete app’.
3. Choose ‘Delete app’ if you want to permanently delete the app or ‘Remove from home screen’ if you only want to delete the app from your home screen.
4. Click ‘Delete’ again to confirm. 

Uninstall BeReal app on Android

1. Open the Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top right.
3. Choose ‘Manage apps & devices’ and tap ‘Manage’.
4. Tap BeReal.
5. Tap ‘Delete’.
